Full Facility Camping
Two family campgrounds are to be found at Jonathan Dickinson
State Park. Pine Grove Campground, with 90 sites, is located near
the ranger station in the east part of the park. The River Campground is
about four miles from the park entrance, near the Loxahatchee River. It
has 45 sites. Both campgrounds have large, tiled bathhouses with hot-water
showers, and sites with water, electric, table and grill. There is a dump
station in each campground. For reservations call ReserveAmerica

Primitive Camping
Two backpack camps are available on segments of the Florida Trail.
One is five miles out along the trail, and the other is nine miles out.
A pitcher pump is located near each camp; WATER MUST BE
TREATED. Overnight trips to these sites must begin by certain
specified times of the day; call the ranger station at
772-546-2771 for information and reservations.

We reserved a campsite, but will still try to reserve a cabin. The campsite is a backup. I also reserved a camper (with A/C), but I can cancel that if I get the cabin. Can't remember what number campsite we got though. I have it written at work.

I think I am going to end up staying over there at least for Sat night but I hear the cabins are gone, I think I can get in on BigBill's site or maybe just go the hotel route

I'm not too happy with the park with the camping thing going on.

Hell if I can put up with UBIL living with me. Storing food, , Bodies and cooking in our cabin is a piece of cake.

I think Fish is gonna be my new best friend with a fridge like that, hahaha.
