I don't know what's up with the people who run the control burn program in the park. They see more fires then Palm Beach County Fire dept.
It's seems they are getting more fire happy the past two years. I was there last weekend and the whole back area was burnt. It seems they aready did that not long ago. They should start burning some of the exotics plants out of there. Please step away from the torch! My cache is on fire! micro2

AJ and I went to find a cache on tues, at another section of the WSF-Johnson Pond Trail Head and they had a BIG sign posted at the entrance about exotic plants and how NOT to spread them, etc. That is one area that needs to have a burn. We have bumped into many of trail personell jeep up here, I never realized how much work they have in this area, to keep everything under control chainsaw
